Assistant IT Manager

As an Assistant IT Manager at Eurasian Campus, I manage and maintain web servers, databases, and core IT systems while developing and supporting key institutional platforms. I have developed and maintained systems including the Student Portal, Convocation Portal, Foundation Portal, Research Unit Portal, Conference Management System, and Student Support System, and I am currently developing a Journal Management System to enhance academic and administrative operations.

• Manage and maintain campus web servers, databases, hosting environments, and core IT infrastructure supporting 8,000+ students and staff with 99%+ uptime
• Lead development and ongoing maintenance of the Student Portal, Student Registration System, and Learning Management System used by 10,000+ active users for registration, academic records, and online learning.
• Built and continuously enhance the Convocation, Foundation, and Research Unit Portals, digitizing processes that previously required heavy manual coordination and reducing administrative processing time by an estimated 50%-60%.
• Collaborate with faculty and admin staff to automate key processes, improving service delivery and reducing repetitive manual tasks.
• Currently designing and developing a Journal Management System to streamline academic publishing, researcher submissions, and review workflows for the Research Unit.

Web Developer (Part-Time)

As a Part-Time Web Developer at IOTA Developmenta, I was responsible for developing and customizing WordPress websites and content management systems. I focused on creating responsive, user-friendly designs while ensuring smooth functionality and efficient content management for the company’s clients.

Web Developer (Intern)

As a Web Developer Intern at Eurasian Campus, I assisted in both back-end and front-end development using PHP, Laravel, and Blade templates. I contributed to database design, improved user interfaces, and supported debugging, testing, and deployment processes to ensure smooth and efficient web application performance.

Chief Editor

As the Chief Editor of the ICT Club at Saegis Campus, I was responsible for overseeing the creation and publication of digital and written content. I led the editorial team in producing engaging articles, event highlights, and technology updates while ensuring quality and consistency across all communications.

Digital Media Advisor

I advised and guided the digital media campaign strategy for the Saegis Campus Students’ Forum 2023/24, helping plan and manage online content to boost student engagement and event visibility. I also contributed creative ideas to enhance the forum’s overall digital presence and communication.

Team Member

I was a team member of the Dr. Richard Pathirana College Aviation Club from 2017 to 2018, where I contributed to organizing the 'Vihanga Ambara 2018' - inauguration of the Southern Education Zone Aerospace Science Conference, helping ensure the event ran smoothly and engaged participants effectively.
